It’s been a while now since I started to think about ways to help people or a cause through my business. I left Brazil over 10 ago, but I owe a lot of what I am to my roots. I had a poor childhood myself, but with lots of opportunities to be creative, and would love to do something to the underprivileged children in Brazil, even if it’s just providing them with some material that could stimulate their imagination.
My first idea was to donate some of my Animal Alphabet posters to schools with little resources, but another way to start giving back just came up through Vila Isabel, a Canadian not-for-profit organization that supports less fortunate children and their families living in Minas Gerais (the state I was born), in Brazil.

On April 12th, they are inviting everyone for a charitable night with Brazilian food, music and silent auction that will be held in Vancouver. If you live there, book your seats, have fun and maybe you’ll leave with an Animal Alphabet (in Portuguese) for your kids. These alphabets were done, packed and sent with lots of love!
Help Vila Isabel to help children.
